Right-hander Marcus Stroman agrees to a two year, $37 million deal with the Yankees.
Stroman, a two time All Star, had a 2.96 ERA in the fiest half of 2023 with the Cubs.
He faced injuries in the second half, finishing the season with a 3.95 ERA.
The Yankees aim to strengthen their rotaion with Stroman's addition.
The rotation includes Gerrit Cole; Carlos Rodon struggled in his first season.
Stroman's deal includes a vesting player option with a third year option.
